Freelancer Being easy is it?

Being a freelancer, perhaps now more commonly regarded as a career option than in years past.

Being a freelancer does have some advantages, but there are still a lot of people the wrong perception about this freelancer career.

The question is: 'How easy to be a successful freelancer?'

People who 'lack of information' to regard the work as a freelancer is a playful work, work easy and relaxed, so sometimes only see the eyes of those who live it. Honestly, as a freelancer worker myself, I sometimes get offended by such sentiments.

With all the information that is widely exposed by the media of the world freelancer, little wonder there are still those who consider the work of freelancers are not 'real work'.

Well, in this article I tried to decipher some of the difficult challenges faced by freelancers. If there are people who do not know that the freelancer is a 'real job', bring them to this article.

Back to the question in the title: Easy to become a freelancer?

If done correctly, it is not different from any other job, freelancer is a tough job and it takes hard work. Those who think otherwise, it will not last long in his career.

1. Freelancer is work, not play

Those who do not know much, illustrating that a freelancer is a person who spends the time to do the job easy and light, fun project.

These misconceptions, originate from the fact that a freelancer can determine the time it works whenever he wants. But of course this does not mean that the job itself is just easy and mild.

In fact, many projects freelancer, is by no means an easy project. Those who hire a freelancer, usually doing things the easy and fun by themselves. Clients, in fact submit their work the hardest to be given to freelancers, either because they do not know how to do it or because they do not want to do it themselves.

2. Have plenty of boss!

If you are quite stressed in the office because it has an annoying boss, then imagine if I had 5 clients the same frustrating!

This is the wrong perception about the next freelancer, which assumes that a freelancer does not have a boss!

While technically correct, but it does not mean that freelancers do not get pressure and should not be responsible to anyone. Freelancers must answer all the wishes of the client! And, in order to obtain sufficient project, freelancers usually work on several projects at once from different clients.

So, the reality is, rather than not have a boss, more precisely freelancers feel they are working for the boss in a lot of time. If you find it difficult to accept one boss, imagine you have five bosses at once!

3. Flood and drought

Perhaps this term kuranglah right, but what I mean is, other jobs usually provide a regular fixed income. For freelancers, things were different.

One month, they may have so many projects exceed the limit that is able to do, which impact a rise in earnings. But in the next month, a freelancer may be trying so hard to get enough jobs, resulting in decreased earnings anyway.

Therefore, it becomes very important for freelancers to manage its finances well.

4. No work, no pay

For an employee, they usually continue to be reimbursed for the holiday or in a state hospital. Not so for freelancers. If, do not work in one day, he will not be paid for that day!

5. Had to 'sell'

Do you like to sell or the sales? Honestly, I did not like him. In fact, for most of us, is the last option to sell something to do. But, yes ... for those who want to survive and succeed in his career as a freelancer, would not want to sell if you want to achieve success.

Each potential client contacts you, it means you have succeeded in selling the services offered. They have had a reason why you are the right person who can meet their expectations.

6. Always there that must be done

If you are a freelancer, oddly enough there's always you have to do. Your work is never really finished.

Even at times quite relaxed, there needs to be done. You may need to update your portfolio or update your blog freelancer. Or you need to improve the social profile in the media and so on.

Well, that's 6 'challenge' difficult faced by freelancers. So, if anyone tells you that being a freelancer is easy, or assume you do not really work, show them this article.

What is your opinion?

Does being a freelancer it easier, or more difficult than any other job? And if you've become a freelancer, how do you explain to those who think you do not have a real job?
